3) Respond to human need by loving service

It was once said, “the place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet”. We believe that God gives us gifts in order that we might be a blessing to others; but the most amazing thing about it is that as we choose to live a life of service and blessing to others, God begins to unlock new layers of gifting, joy and fruitfulness in us in a kind of wonderful spiral of grace. We have a city full of need – and the Christian is called by Jesus to get stuck in and to live a life of service for the sake of others: just as He did. Are you willing to pray this prayer: “God, break my heart for what breaks Yours”?
